Stewed Beef shop at Ekkamai

This is my favorite place for a beef noodle or soup, may be the best because I don't know a better place yet. This was where I had my first lunch in Bangkok 30 years ago, the day I arrived Bangkok on a work trip! It is still there.. and still as good!

Located between Ekkamai 18 & 20, this neon sign always help to locate it.





















The new generation manning the shop told me it's been around for 40+ years!
















Look at the size of the soup wok, always fill to the brim!
















Still well patronize to its closing hours at 9pm.
















A baby elephant passed by.. only a few pieces of sugar cane for B20; surely needs a lot more for diner.
